Comfy from head to toe

Pictures by Milla Kuoksa

Cashmere pants, cardigan & T-shirt/Andiata, Bag/Prada, Shoes/Zara, Sunnies/Chanel

The comfiest outfit I've ever had. Cashmere from head to toe, I've literally been living in it this Christmas. Stylish and so luxurious. Tomorrow it's going to be New Years which I'm so excited about. Good food, Champagne and celebration with my family, friends and our guests from France. Yay!

PS. This outfit is also -40% on Andiata shop and webshop. ;)

Have a lovely day. xx

Cashmere with boucle

Coat/Andiata, Bag/Prada, Shoes/Mango, Cashmere knit/Andiata, Sunnies/Chanel

It feels so crazy that I was able to wear only boucle coats and skirts when I left Paris. This is such a classy outfit, just what I love to wear on those days when you need to feel sure of yourself and of what you're wearing. The excellent cut of this coat makes it look luxurious combined with the big buttons and all the small details.

Today the sales started at Andiata store/webshop and this coat is also -40% there. Go and check it out, they have a lot of lovely things there. xx

A few pics from this morning after yesterdays celebration. Christmas, my favourite celebration of the whole year. A day full of traditions and being together with the whole family. <3 Our day starts with traditional rice porridge cooked by my grandmother and the competition of who will get the almond and with that, the possibility to make a wish. After we leave to the church, go to do some skiing and then to the Christmas sauna. In the evening we enjoy the big Christmas dinner with a table full of all kind of delicious Finnish dishes that we have prepared for the last two evenings. Salmon cooked in different ways, casserolles, rosolli, pork, lamb, reindeer.. After we open the gifts and eat some dessert listening to christmas songs. Without forgetting the chocolate! Love it, love it, love it. Deep discussions, laughter and the feeling of complete calmness.

I wish you all had a lovely Christmas. xx

Sock boots and crop flares

Crop flare jeans with sock boots is one of the major trends of this winter. From sales at Mango I found the perfect pair of crop flares that I'm going to show you when I come back from my vacation in the North. Here in middle of snow and ice I prefer using Uggs, Timberlands and Canada Goose haha.

There is still a few outfit pics to share from Paris. Over knee boots, a cozy turtleneck and a pair of high waisted black jeans is an easy and chic way of putting together a nice, warm winter outfit. Like I I always say, Paris is at its most beautiful just before the sun goes down.

Tomorrow I'll be getting up early for a day of working at Andiata AW18 catalogue photoshoot. One of my favourite days during the year, super excited! Have a lovely Sunday. xx

Boucle and jeans

Blazer/Andiata, Bag/Prada, Jeans/Zara, Shoes/Zara, Blouse/Andiata

This Chanel inspired blazer is a classic. To make it more so to say "young" I often combine it with ripped jeans, leather and a pair of cool boots.

Today my exam week will begin. One last squeeze and then it's time for vacation, yay!

Have a lovely day. xx

Ankle length coats and turtlenecks are the best thing I know during the winters in Paris. Protected against the cold breeze from head to toe. With a big take-away coffee from Starbucks in my hand and sneakers on my feet, I'm ready to attack Monday.

After breaking my phone, loosing all of my contacts and having a new number etc. I created a new snapchat which I will be updating daily. I've been very lazy with using this app but now I'll step up and focus on it. So follow me on snapchat moreliusmatilda to see more of my daily life. :)

Have a lovely week. xx

Good morning! So happy we're in Decemeber already.  I'm one of the persons who looves christmas and the hub around it. Having pre-christmas parties with girls baking gingerbread cookies together , drinking the finnish warm christmas drink Glög, listening to christmas songs: the calm, happy feeling and the joy of being together is one of the best things I know. Under christmas I start to feel a bit homesick, missing my family and the traditions we have back home. Luckily my mom will be visiting me here next week and then the week after that I'll be heading back home for a few weeks of celebration.  <3

Have a lovely weekend. xx

Best coffee in Paris part 2: Holybelly

Time for the next part of best coffee in Paris. Last weekend we went to Hollybelly with Milla and Riikka. We had to wait for one hour for our table, because as usual, the best brunch places in Paris are totally full from the moment they open on weekends. At Holybelly you have a really nice and kind atmosphere with people running around, music and tables full of laughter. A total opposite to The Broken Arm, this place has an Australian/US feel rather than french.

We decided to take pancakes in two ways: salty and sweet + a bowl of black porridge with fruits. Everything was delicious, just a little too much sweet to eat in the beginning of the morning. We should have taken one pancake and then some of of their specialty egg dishes that they had on the menu. The portions were huge and the prices ranged from porridge 8e to pancakes 12e and their egg dishes were around 13e if I remember right. Price and quality goes well hand in hand. We left rolling out the café, definitely a place we will be visiting again.
